#5 Diesal Enselman: Midwest Renegade Flaherty 13u- Shooting Guard

He’s an excellent shooter who looked to score whenever he was behind the three-point line. Diesal is very crafty with finding ways to free himself. He ran around screens and used dribble moves that allowed him to get clean looks at the basket. Don’t be fooled by his shooting prowess! Diesal also attacks the basket when the opportunity presents itself. He was able to do this on multiple occasions. There was a sequence in the game where he used a nice pump-fake to get around his opponent and get into the paint. The threat of him shooting a three allowed him to make a positive play. Diesal is an excellent offensive player. Defensively, he needs to improve his balance. He was beaten on a number of occasions. Once Diesal improves in this area, he could become a very special player. The good news is, Diesal is still young. He has plenty of time to work on this part of his game. Keep it up Diesal!
