#8 Owen Bay: Midwest Renegade Flaherty 13u- Power Forward

He’s a great rebounder who attacked the boards on both ends of the floor. Owen did all the intangibles on the basketball court. It wasn’t just about scoring and I appreciated this aspect of his game. He set perfect screens that allowed his teammates to take high percentage shots. On a number of occasions, Owen ran the floor and scored in transition. Whenever his teammates missed shots, he was always there to rebound and score around the basket. Owen is also a good passer. The majority of his assists were on the money and led to easy scores. Defensively, he was able to block a couple of shots and deter opposing players from easily getting into the paint. Owen needs to add more to his game offensively. Once he develops a jump-shot or the ability to beat defenders off the dribble, Owen could become more of a threat on offense. Keep working Owen!!
